Now, instead of replacing lamps because a calendar told you to, you replace them because they actually stopped working.&#xA;Of course, adding sensors isn&amp;rsquo;t free. It makes the ballast a bit bigger, and you can&amp;rsquo;t just toss a WiFi chip onto a high-voltage circuit without causing a mess of interference.&#xA;To make it work, we used isolated power modules.
